• Luxembourg is known for its high-quality sparkling wine, Crémant de Luxembourg, winner of 22 gold medals in the Crémant Awards in 2015.
• The capital city has a 10.5-mile underground tunnel network beneath it. The tunnels and fortresses, known as the Bock Casemates, were constructed in 1644 and are now a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
• Luxembourg is the world’s only remaining Grand Duchy in the world. A Grand Duchy is the head of state.
