Croatia

Welcome to Croatia

Croatia emerged several years ago as an enticing, new travel destination and with good reason: balmy Mediterranean weather, ancient culture and history, water sports and alpine adventures.

Take in the striking Adriatic views from medieval Dubrovnik, awash with ancient walls and bell towers. Set sail into that remarkably clear water and visit nearby islands and lively coastal towns. Perhaps you’ll moor in Hvar, the country’s nightlife capital. Inland, nature lovers flock to Plitvice National Park (one of eight in the country), with its 16 gorgeous lakes. Hike, bike, rock climb, raft or zip line in the craggy in the Dinaric Range.

Eat the freshest seafood of your life and wash it down with Malvazija white wines and Teran reds from Istrian villages like Motovun. Don’t miss the quirky museums (Museum of Broken Relationships, anyone?) and buzzing foodie scene of Zagreb. Croatia has emerged from the shadows – come see its light.
