Jersey

Jersey

Welcome to Jersey

You may not be expecting it from a tiny island in the Irish Sea, but Jersey offers a world-class zoo, interesting museums, excellent dining, a bustling capital city, castles and World War II ruins and so much more.

Summers mean sun-splashed days on the windswept coastline and walking tours of the southwest part of the island. Explore Mont Orgueil Castle in St. Helier. Go fishing on secluded Rozel Bay or St. Catherine’s Bay. Take in the lovely views from the highest point on the island – Les Platons – where you can see all the way to Bonne Nuit Bay and the Mont Mado granite quarries.

The entire west coast of the island showcases wide St. Ouen’s Bay, a favorite of surfers, wildlife lovers and nature enthusiasts. If you’re a history buff, stop into the Channel Islands Military museum to learn about the occupation period.
