Welcome to Middle Africa

Middle (or Central) Africa is a region rich in many ways – from its natural beauty to its wildlife diversity. And yet, it’s also one of the world’s poorest regions.

Our responsibility as travelers is to experience this special area of Africa when it’s safe to do so, aiding in recovery by indulging our curiosity, getting to know the local people and contributing to their society, both with our hearts and our tourism dollars.

Travel by canoe along the Ubangi River to village of Zinga, where you’ll find friendly people and traditional wooden Congo homes. Travel to Manovo-Gounda National Park to (hopefully) glimpse the incredibly rare black rhino, as well as elephants, cheetahs and leopards.

Go birding in stunning Andre Felix National Park, employing a local guide to show you the best viewing spots. From Angola to Cameroon, Rwanda to Sao Tome, turn an eye toward Middle Africa.
