Dreaming of Jamaica? Make it a hassle-free beach vacation by choosing an all-inclusive resort – everything is included, so your only job is to relax and rejuvenate. Here, we answer some common questions about trips to the island and list some of the best all-inclusive resorts in Jamaica.
What Is the Average Cost of an All-Inclusive Resort in Jamaica?
Depending on your level of luxury, the average cost of an all-inclusive resort in Jamaica is $3,822 for seven nights (luxury) or $1,883 for seven nights (mid-range).

What Places Should I Avoid in Jamaica?
During your Jamaica vacation, try to stay away from Kingston and Spanish Town, considered two of the island’s most dangerous areas. Among the safest areas are Runaway Bay, Point Lucea, Port Antonio and Portland.

Which Is Better – Negril or Montego Bay?

Montego Bay is larger than Negril and therefore has more all-inclusive resort offerings (but it’s also more expensive). Most all-inclusive resorts have a private beach, multiple pools and more. Montego Bay also offers more family-friendly options and home rentals. If you’re looking for a authentic Jamaican city experience, choose Montego Bay. It wasn’t built with tourists in mind, so you’re going to have the chance to meet many more locals here. Although there isn’t as much beach as in Negril, Montego Bay does offer inexpensive beach admission rates, including at the popular Doctor’s Cave. If you’re looking for exciting nightlife, again, Montego Bay is a great choice. Margaritaville is here, as well as a number of lively dance clubs.

Negril makes up for fewer accommodations options with the island’s best stretches of beach, including Seven Mile Beach. The area’s famous cliffs make for dramatic views. You’ll find Negril to be a tourist-driven destination with plenty of activity options. It’s easy to take a day to natural attractions from Negril, including to the beautiful Blue Hole Mineral Spring. However, with more beach space on which to spread out than you’ll find in Negril, the beaches are rarely crowded.

Which Resort in Jamaica Has the Best Food?
Sandals Royal Plantation stands out for its two excellent a la carte restaurants. Choose from French at Papillon or Italian at Le Terrace. And don’t miss some of Jamaica’s best jerk chicken at the beachside grill. Another foodie favorite, Iberostar offers a teppanyaki as one of its four internationally themed restaurants. And, they’re known for one of the biggest buffets in Jamaica.

What Is the Prettiest Beach in Jamaica?
First, where are the best beaches in Jamaica? Generally, the prettiest beaches are on the northwest coast, including Seven Mile Beach in Negril and the beaches in Montego Bay. Others in the running for most beautiful beach in Jamaica are Sandals Montego Bay Beach, Bloody Bay, Treasure Beach, Frenchman’s Cove, Dunn’s River Falls Beach, Doctor’s Cave Beach and James Bond Beach.
