Camping and road trips have never looked better. In fact, they offer great opportunities to enjoy quality family time while still social distancing due to COVID. When you’re looking for great family-friendly and safer travel options, consider lodging, travel, and activities you’ll be participating in. We’ve done most of the work for you to help spark ideas that will have you excited to travel again.

We’re all growing itchy, ready to get out and do something…anything, and travel isn’t going to look quite like we’re used to for a little while. On that note, being creative is the best way to work around the situation. You might find your new, favorite getaway!

Camping

Consider RV Rentals, using tents, or invest in an RV for ongoing family fun. There’s a boom in camping right now, whether it’s tent camping or an all-out-loaded caravan. With room to spread out, no hotels to worry about, and the ability to stay close to home or go clear across the country, camping is a great place to start.

The National Park Service offers over 130 camping options. While some may be limited due to COVID-19, many are still available and open. You can see the full list of NPS camping options here. We’ve handpicked three we think are worth putting on your short list.
